Biking and Yoga

This was a way I used to force myself to wake up and be disciplined. It is a little discontinued due to exams and work for the last 3 months, but I still try to go once in a while. And I take my mom along! It is difficult to convince my parents to do some decent workout. This is my way of spending more time with them!

As a child, I used to attend Yoga sessions and later on started teaching my mom and my sister every morning.

Movies

Ever heard of South Indian cinema? Every Sunday, my family watches a movie at home. None of us understand the language. But the acting and subtitles make the experience near-perfect. Six years back I got them hooked to South Indian Cinema, and I can say I have consumed 80% of the best Tollywood (South Indian Cinema) productions. That approximates to at least 300 movies. My friends still cringe over its questionable physics and animations!

Music

Usually, people who love South Indian Movies also love South Indian Music. But I'm a little more picky about that. I like Anirudh Ravichander's music. He is not too popular outside of South India but still ends up rising on the charts. I like energetic songs from 2000s Bollywood Movies; apparently I used to run around the house listening to those songs as a child.

Chess and Table-tennis

Due to a lot of reasons, table-tennis is now the most accessible indoors and popular sport especially among students I find during preparation for the olympiads. It doesn't take one long to pick up a new skill by playing with your friends.

Since childhood, I used to learn chess from my teacher and tutor students for 10 rupees an hour (0.12 USD today).
